When you compare people or things, you need the comparison forms of the adjectives.
| verbs with 1 or 2 syllables | -er | -est | strong, stronger, strongest |
| verbs with 3+ syllables | more … | most … | difficult, more difficult, most difficult |
Some adjectives have got special forms, like
- good, better, best
- bad, worse, worst
- big, bigger, biggest.
